Material and Thickness Information
Brochure material options for shear blades include SKD11, 6CrW2Si, 9CrSi, H13, Cr12MoV and SLD (7Cr7Mo2V2Si). The final grade depends on the metal grade, strip thickness, cutting speed and blade geometry, and is confirmed against the machine and cutting conditions.
Dimensions, Holes and Mounting Details
Include the overall length, width and thickness of the blade, the number and position of bolt holes, any locating surfaces, and how the blade is mounted in the shear. The edge angle and clearance settings also affect the cut.
